This position includes economic development, planning and zoning administration. The individual in this position performs professional planning and zoning work for the City through application of planning principles and zoning activities. Additionally, this position includes subdivision and zoning administration; coordinates updates to comprehensive plan, city ordinances, and oversees building inspections, and coordinates Planning Commission and Economic Development Authority. Annual Salary: $89,612 - $113,489* , plus full city benefit package. Starting wage will be based on qualifications and experience. *2022 wage scale Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in urban studies, urban planning or a related field. Two (2) years or more professional experience in local government planning or economic development. Knowledge of Statutes, Regulations, Policies and procedures related to planning and development.
