SANTI COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEDICATED COUNTY TO FOUNDATION PUBLIC BLIC SAFETY The Isanti County Sheriff's Foundation is a newly established 50103 Public Non-Profit organization created to support and assist the Sheriff's Office through private and community funding. The Foundation is a resource to fill voids between governmental funding and the needs of the Sheriff's Office to better support Public Safety in the community. The Sheriff and his Command Staff can make requests for any of the departments for specific equipment or materials that may fall outside the Isanti County budget. For example, the Foundation will be providing a road emergency package for each of the 24 Patrol/Safety Rescue vehicles in the Sheriff's Office (Collapsible Reflective Road cones with Flashing Lights, LED Road Flares for use at emergencies, Window Breaker/Seatbelt Cutter, Omni-Positional LED Light to illuminate scenes, and a Porta- ble LED Clip-On Flashlight for hands free use). The Foundation, through the Sheriff's Office will be donating four LED Road Flare Packages and Window Breaker/Seatbelt Cutters to each of the Cambridge, Braham, and Isanti Police Departments. Another example of fund usage would be the maintenance of the Therapy Dog program (coming soon!) with items such as dog food and vet costs. Annual memberships are a very important resource for the Foundation. With a cost of $25 annually per individual member, even a handful of generous people can make a large difference. Business memberships are $200 annually. Each member is given a sticker for their front door/window or vehicle to show support and solidarity with the mission of the Isanti County Sheriff's Foundation to improve Public Safety in our County. Everyone involved with the operation of the Foundation is volunteer-only. All funds go towards the Sheriff Department's requests. The Foundation accepts donations and memberships.
