Senior LinkAge Line® Advocate Central MN Council on Aging is committed to maintaining the highest level of independence of older people by developing and coordinating community care, reducing isolation, and improving access to services. As a part-time Senior LinkAge Line Advocate you will assist older adults and their family members providing phone and in-person assistance to evaluate their situation, locate appropriate community services, and connect them to resources and supports. You will also receive training to provide Medicare and benefits counseling. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in social work, gerontology, nursing, or related human service. Two years of professional experience in the social services field including long-term care, health care, social services, or lead agency setting is preferred.
