Environmental Technician/HHW 20+ Hours Per Week Assist in the collection and processing of household hazardous waste at the County Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) facility in North Branch. Protect the environment and maintain public health through education of residents on household hazardous waste identification, storage, disposal, best practices, and safer alternatives. Assist in the promotion of County solid waste programs that encourage environmental stewardship, waste reduction, reuse and recycling. Post-Secondary education and/or certifications in an Environmental, | Chemical, Science, Natural Resources; OSHA 24- or 40-Hour Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response Standard (HAZWOPER) Certification or ability to obtain within probationary period; Must have a valid driver's license.
