About the Role: As Finance Director, you will provide strategic oversight of the Finance Department, ensuring financial integrity, compliance, and operational excellence. You will collaborate as part of the Senior Leadership Team, guiding financial policy develop- ment and decision-making to support our mission. Key Responsibilities: Lead financial planning, budgeting, and reporting processes. Ensure compliance with nonprofit accounting principles, GAAP, and regulatory requirements. Oversee accounting functions, including payroll, audits, and internal controls. Develop and implement financial policies and procedures. Provide accurate and timely financial reports to support organizational goals. Utilize accounting and payroll software (e.g., QuickBooks, ADP) efficiently. Foster a culture of financial transparency and accountability. Minimum Requirements: 5+ years of progressive financial management experience. Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and audit coordination. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work independently. Exceptional skill in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Understanding of nonprofit financial management, GAAP and regulatory compliance standards. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in the nonprofit sector. Adaptive leadership skills with a strategic mindset.
