STORYTELLING, SONGS & ART FRIDAY, JULY 26.6PM-8PM HALLBERG CENTER FOR THE ARTS 5521 EAST VIKING BLVD, WYOMING Join us for an evening of Water Storytelling, Songs & Art with Sharon Day and Sara Thomsen. Learn about Nibi Walks through stories and songs. Participate in an art project of your favorite body of water. WE ARE WATER m Nibi Walks, or water walks, are traditionally led by Anishinaabe grandmothers to honor and respect water as life giver and are a form of prayer for the health of the rivers, lakes and bodies of water they walk. More info can be found at nibiwalk.org This event is part of We Are Water MN, a traveling exhibit and community engagement initiative that explores the science, history, story, culture, and relationships of water in Minnesota, and, in this case, Chisago County.
